What is CranioSacral Therapy?

CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of the craniosacral system, which is made up of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.

What Can it be Used to Treat?

Using a soft touch, practitioners massage and release tension of the bones in the skull, spine, and pelvis to improve the functioning of the central nervous system. CranioSacral Therapy is used to treat chronic pain, motor-coordination impairments, chronic fatigue, and emotional difficulties.

What Can I Expect?

After a thorough history and examination, the CranioSacral therapist will apply gentle pressure to the bones of the skull, spine and pelvis. Treatment typically lasts 30 minutes, but depends on the individual treatment plan.
